Fire Plane Workshop

Save the day during Fire & Safety Month and let your imagination soar as you build a fire plane. With a little help, you can learn to use a screwdriver to connect everything you’ll need to become airborne. You’ll be able to attach the wings, landing gear, adjust the tail fin, decorate the propellers with stickers and be ready to fly. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Babysitters Training Class

What a great way to spend your day off school! Learn the skills to be the best babysitter on the block. Babysitter Training is an American Red Cross instructional program. The course is fun and fast-paced with hand-on activities, role-plays, instructional videos, and discussions. You will gain the confidence to make smart decisions and stay safe in any babysitting situation. Participants should bring snacks and a lunch. Preregistration is required one week prior to class. Have an email ready to provide for American Red Cross certification.

Ages: At least 11 but less than 16

Scarecrow Planter Workshop

Harvest the fun during our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a scarecrow planter. Your young farmer can learn how a seed grows while you help them construct a festive home for their plant. They will sand, glue, and paint pieces of wood to create this holiday planter. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. Zippy Scarf Class

Kinit with the Zippy Tool and create a striped scarf project! Class is 1 session for 2.5 hours.Supplies are required for this class

Learn 3 embroidery stitches. Class is 1 session for 2.5 hours.Supplies are required for this class

Learn to Sew

Learn basic sewing terminology, to use a sewing machine, to sew basic seams & construct a simple pillow! Intended for children 8 years & older. Class is 1 session for 3 hours. Supplies are required for this class.

Learn to Quilt

Learn basic quilting skills and terminology, how to use a sewing machine and sewing tools, how to sew a basic quilt block, to make a no-sew applique & create a wall hanging for your room! Intended for children 8 years & older. Class is 1 session for 3 hours. Supplies are required for this class.
